[edit] What are Mods? / Spring Client-Compatible Mods
Mods traditionally constitute additions to a game that change the way it works. However, the term Mod when used in connection to the Spring project refers to a game in its own right that runs on the Spring engine. The following mods adhere to the official Mod_specification which ensures that they work with the Lobby Client.

[edit] Other Resources
- File Universe link
- "Mods, Races, TCs, Unit Packs" entry in the tauniverse.com forum
- Modweb_Generator is a tool that allows you to set up a web that shows information about mods, this page has some example mod-webs.
- Modinfo shows information about units/weapons/corpses etc stuff, in almost any mod (if some mod is missing, PM at TradeMark). Modinfo has also an "error reporting" tool, which shows errors in the TDF files, like missing ; marks. "find errors" utility shows several types of errors, and other useful information about cleaning up your mod.
