King of EE

The King of E&E is a title warranting respect. And by this, I mean the King of E&E has brutally beaten all his or her challengers and you should probably fear and learn from such a person.

1. If someone wishes to challenge the King's power, he will contact the King (usually by a TAS Client PM) and challenge him. The challenger sets the Comm Ends/Continues and Ghosted Buildings settings.

2. The Challenger also chooses the map. No map over 32 x 32 or under 8 x 6 / 6 x 8 can be used. No "Metal Maps" or maps without metal can be used either.

3. Start Positions are determined fairly, as per the standard. Recommendation is, of course, Random or Fixed.

4. The Mod is always the latest version of E&E, standard edition. The economy settings are always 1k Energy and 1k Metal. All tactics are allowed.

5. The King has to accept all challenges, or resign automatically. He may postpone if it's late, he has to go, or similar incidents; but the challenger is first on the list of challenges.

6. The King must wear the tag of [KoEE] at all times. This gives everyone a chance to see who's King and challenge him.

7. If the King is defeated, he must hand over the [KoEE] tag. The deposed King cannot challenge the new one for the next 24 hours.

8. If the King defeats a challenger, the challenger may challenge again after 24 hours.

9. Spectators are allowed, but any meddling on the part of the spectators may invalidate the match.

10. A disconnection is a loss for the person who disconnects and a victory for his opponent. This clears up any possible cheating through sudden disconnection when the tide turns.

11. A tie warrants an optional repeat on the part of the challenger with no 24 hour restriction.

Updating The List

Kings are encouraged to add themselves to the list when they take the title. Detailed histories of their reigns are preferred. We ask that no player use this page to slander another unnecessarily.

Note

In the event that the King has not been seen for three months, the title will be given to a successor to further the cause of E&E. If the original holder returns he or she may of course challenge the King once more.
